New tyres may well be the cause. It takes 2-300 miles for the release agents in new tyres to wear off and the tyres bed-in. Until then grip is reduced Never drive hard on new tyres and give them time to settle in.

Think yourself lucky the DSC did cut in. Otherwise your posting could have been "Crashed my Disco.... "

I have just put on a rear set of Grabber AT's (look really nice) but still have wranglers on the front. I am also getting the DSC coming on when cornering at a "faster" pace than normal.

I am looking to change the fronts within the next few months and hope all the same tyres will sort it, but I agree very disconcerting when it kicks in.

I had same thing when turning right. Might be a coincidence but since I had my four wheel alignment done at quick fit it hasn't happened since, my steering wheel was slightly out before but isn't now, might be worth trying, kwik fit price was £49.99 and only took bout an hour total Inc the wait.

except of tyre pressure rear top wishbone bushes would be the main reason of unexpexted DSC activation
are you positive that the rear suspension is solid and there is no "forklift effect"
