First post, but been trawling this site for just over a month now and got loads of good ideas and helpful hints from other members
Today:
Fitted side steps
New battery
Cleaned MAP sensor
Also added the obligatory Disco3 sticker and fitted some new mud flaps a few weeks ago, original brackets were rusted through and plastic cracked, so I removed and cut new out of 4mm thick rubber matting. Fitted a Kinivo BTC480 as well for music etc.

Washed it
I used a magic sponge and autoglym rubber and plastic spray to lubricate it and went over my plastics. My Door handles were particularly faded and had various marks from polish. they look a lot better now - just hope it lasts. used the same spray on a wet engine bay.
Pretty happy with the old girl..... who am i kidding, I love my disco

Cleaned it for the first time since I bought it. Looking smarter but it shows up a heck of a lot of scuffs and minor scratches. They’ll need to get done before the winter.
Only realised how big this car is when I tried to clean the roof...

Spent over £600 on bits to put the engine back together! Advanced Factors as recommended should have everything to me for Monday and then the fun begins. It's my first Land Rover and I didn't take it apart so it's going to be one hell of a jigsaw. Hopefully up and running and MOT'd before next weekend.
Then I can hand it over to the wife....2004 Disco 3 HSE TDV6

today removed show plates (which are BS marked)cleaned many layers of sticky pads, filled the 4 holes some moron drilled in the tailgate for the number plates, and fitted the new plates, front and rear.
fitted the new glove box, what a in the to do!!!
played with the IID BT tool again, tested the FBH, which didn't work,
reading on here tried the compressed air trick and it fired up
tested again with out the air injection and it fired up all by it's self
IID BT tool still reporting FBH fault, but cleared so will try again after the car has had a few cold morning starts to see if it's clear.
made a better job of fitting the reverse camera screen
tested the cruise control switches, they seem ok so will try cruise control later to see if cleaning the contacts has done anything.D3 HSE 2.7 TDV6 named Calvin with him stuffed Tiger Hobbes sat in the back

Updated the rear lights to the 2010 LED variety. Personally I prefer the red LEDs rather than the later black/smoked ones, particularly up against the darker paintwork. Delighted with these and at £125 off the forum they are a big saving over new.
They take years off the car.
