D4 EPB Light Flashing and Bonging Poll |
|
This poll is only for the Discovery 4 owners. The intention being to provide some feedback to LR on how many D4s are affected and under what circumstances.
I've compiled several options but if you think I've missed one let me know and I'll add it - well, I'll ask the mods to as I can't change the poll as the first vote was cast - mine
Fingers crossed this might speed up the release of a fix

Bump - if you enter the poll, please bump the thread to keep it active as I've limited the time to 90 days. Thanks

Very interesting how it's a complete spread! Mine has started doing it again regularly, after a respite of a month or two...

Can we have another option please? First time for me today - when I picked it up from its first service! Bongs and flashes as I started up, and then again when service desk bod had a look, but once she applied the epb it stopped. Service Tech said it shouldn't be anything to do with the service, but...

hi guys EPB light flashing!!!!!! this is telling you that the EPB module has lost/recalibrating the stress guage in the park brake module? this has always been the case on D3 model but the light never illuminated.
Thurther on from this i believe that landrover is releasing a software patch to over come this issue and should be available soon from your local STEALER!!!!

Strangely enough, mine has behaved itself since I'm back from Tunisia - Ok I did have the 1st service done about 5 weeks after returning, but even so I don't think it's happened since.
