In cars where TMPS works it is very good. It reduces tyre wear by making sure that you keep the pressure right and they are an additional safety feature. They are becoming increasingly popular and word is that by 2009 they will be standard equipment on cars. The only problem is that when LR come up with a new system it normally takes a year with the first customers to get it to work. I'm taking a chance. The dealer said that if they don't work they can always be disabled so he doesn't sound too confident either!

going to call the dealer tomorrow and see if they can change it to Zermatt Silver. I haven't seen a Stornoway Grey in the flesh and, as I want to keep this car for some time I am worried that I won't like it. I keep looking at mine in Zermatt and thinking "better the devil you know" sorry for being boring!

Might be cheaper to buy one of the wireless aftermarket systems Cat. Sensatyre costs around $500. Have a nice day!

was just curious also of it's integration with other vehicle systems as I think it would be a 'nice to have' extra.
