I'll check them out - seem to have to go through all the policy docs to work out what they actually do cover

Looks like the Aria one through CCC can give the "super" level of cover for the same price as the standard Red Pennant cover so much better value.
Thanks Al - done and bought MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

We just booked to go to France with CCC so will check out their breakdown cover.
Usually book with CC but fancied a different site.
Must say CC red pennant was expensive for single trip but they were very good when the Disco's wheel bearing went. Came & collected it from site then sorted out hire car to get around in. All in all got my money's worth that year.

When I went last year (and the year before for that matter) I used www.europeanbreakdowncover.com and paid around £80 for a single trip with a 8m caravan. 2004 Disco 3 TDV6 SE

Thanks
Just be aware that when I broke down last year - whilst still in the UK the only replacement tow'car' they could find me was a Ford Transit hire van!!!
Great for bringing wine home but we got some very strange looks on campsites!!

Obviously have the LR assistance but this does not cover issues with the caaravan only the car. Currently have RAC cover but this is £210 which seems a little steep.

Just back from 2 weeks in France - Red Pennant
Did the CCC version last year, yes it was cheaper but it does cut some corners - higher confidence with Red Pennant especially as I had suspension problems and had to be flat bedded back home only 2 weeks prior to going away. Glad to say, 1500 miles later and safely back without as much as a squeak from the ol' girl - she did us proud !!
