Hi, is there anyone nearby or passing that could try and get my FBH working, it hasnt fired up the last 2 winters and i would like to try and sort it before this winter.
Once its working i can then purchase one of Bodsy's kits. Now gone - D3 Zambezi silver. Smoked / limo windows, various LEDs, DVD in headrest screens. Side steps, GG AT's, software and Bluetooth upgrades by Bodsy.

Hi Ian,
Tried to contact you to purchase one of these. Are you able to supply them still or do I need to go to altox direct?
Many thanks

Hello,
I would like to buy a Genuine LR Parts Remote Kit from Bodsy. Unfortunately the E-Mail button in Bodsy's profile is not working. Is there anybody who is able to help to get in contact with him to order?
Kind regards,
Stef Expect the unexpected.

Compatability between touch screen and Altox control |
|
Hi Ian et al,
Have been searching the forum to try to understand whether, with Altox installed, the touch screen controls on the dashboard still work the timed climate - but can't find any info
i.e. does the Altox interfere with the touchscreen controller, or can I use them interchangeably - e.g. set a timed event on the touchscreen when I'm in the car, and then change it via Altox when I'm out of the car? And vice-versa?
I get the impression that when the Altox is fitted, the touchscreen is redundant / not functional for timed climate - why else would you need to install a separate button and indicator?
Hope someone can clarify

My Timed climate still works with the Altox attached but not sure the Altox will over-ride or alter the existing settings on the cars timer. Think they work independently but dont quote me on that D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo
D3 HSE MY06 missing her still…

Yes the timed climate on the screen works independently of the Altox.
The Altox in no way changes the on screen timings. The Altox is just a more flexible way of adding remote park heat activation from an app on your phone. 👍🏻 Bodsys Brake Bible

Hi.
To save me reading all this and figuring it out.
In simple terms that this simple engineer will understand, what do I need for my 2016 D4 to remote start the FBH and turn on the fans.
I have the BAS unit from my old D3 to fit, but doing it from my phone sounds like something that will get me more respect from my kids.

If it’s the old BAS FBHIC controller, I’m not sure that will work with a D4. Post a pic up. Bodsys Brake Bible

Hi
I'll get a pic up tomorrow, but I think I'd rather upgrade to the Altox.
As mentioned, is it all I need on a late D4 to remote start the FBH and start the fans?
Do you have any in stock at the moment?

Yes that’s all you need as well as enabling in the Car config file for course.
I have stock but they’re all spoken for at the moment. More coming in shortly. Bodsys Brake Bible
