Decided to use genuine part LR073372 from my local Landrover main dealer, only 10mins away, and was told stock item and £39 in vat. happy days, thought it would be more. Thanks to all for information.

If anyones interested I’ve ordered these o rings for the oil cooler. Size seems to be good.

I've just changed mine, was an easy enough job just be ready for coolant to be liberated when you take the big pipe off the manifold you are replacing!

I also replaced the O ring on the intercooler - it seems you can't get them from Peugeot, well I struggled anyway. User twr7cx in another thread correctly identifies it as a BS211 which worked a treat, I got one locally from Aire Bearings in Leeds for the grand total of.... 55p! Bargain, and now everything is back together and working a treat.

How hard was it to push the housing back over that o-ring?
It's very difficult to tell if it has pushed fully home, but it does not slip on easily?

You should be able to tell easy enough. I used a little lubricant to ease the way

I've lubed with olive oil, was expecting a firm push to slip it into place, but feels like it is not getting past the chamfer on the housing tube. Possibly the o-ring I have used is too fat, annoyingly have misplaced the original so unable to compare...
