Ive done my 3ltr 6 speed about a month ago & its brilliant, bags of power, no clouds of smoke & improved mpg, very smooth power delivery all the way round the rev counter now !

I haven't raced the wife but i reckon its quicker than our TDV8 sport !

England

Had an Alive map on my SDV6 for well over a year now, Gary was very informative and talked me through all the witch craft, parameters that get altered and gave me a very detailed explanation of the map.
I have been over the moon with the transformation and it has bags more torque now and goes like Censored off a shovel Laughing

Gets a huge thumbs up from me Thumbs Up

0-60 time is now sub-7 seconds. That's quick enough to scare quite a few hot hatches Laughing

Is that on the 6-speed, or the 8-speed, or both? I have the 6-speed box

Those figures are amazing, the standard car feels very torqey in standard trim an additional 115 odd ft lbs must be ace when towing?

Naks,

Did you manage to get the mapping done, and what is the verdict?

DeeWee, you are spoilt for choice in JHB!

The only reason I'm going the Alive route is because I do not want to send my ECU to JHB.

I contacted the following tuners in JHB, all of them are cheaper than Alive (R6k-R8k):
