Dont forget all the extras you will need aswell,
Awning if needed, water containers fresh/waste, Ehc lead, gas bottles, the list goes on & it dose mount up,
so with an open mind just check out any local'ish adverts for any 1 selling up with complete kit,
Caravaners love there van, but a lot have have things they would have liked diffrent if they were to build it them selfs,
only found out through many nights away
So a compromise of several key factors help in the choice,
A good layout that works for you sounds like it's top of the list, so start with that &
unless you have seen a van / make / model / spec that ticks all the right box's, keep an open mind RRSport MY12hse but don't hold that against lill o me
Hybrid TV, cubby Fridge, Surround Camera's, Sun Roof.
Disco 3 MY05hse Sadly gone
All alone in my own little world,
But everybody knows me there, so I'm ok.

depends on whether you intend to use the shower - the show cubicle is very small and you would have to get out of the shower to dress properly.
if you can get one with a table at the front between the two front bench seats, that make is a lot more convenient for putting you beer/cuppa onto. the L shaped seating we found inconvenient in our last one, but it all down to preference Duncan

If I'd known I was going to be so thirsty this morning I'd have drunk more beer last night.

We're thinking of buying Stew's Avondale as a cheap entry in to tin tenting to see if we like it.
Not sure on what layout would work so thinking is to just get on with it, see how we use it and at end of season know if we're hooked and either want to upgrade and change layout or carry on.
Hopefully it has mostly depreciated out so shouldn't lose much if we wanted to sell it later in the year.
Aim is to also have cheaper holidays as hiring cottages all the time costs is best part of 3k a year. MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
