EPB mounting mode quastion

I just had my rotors and brake pads done. My local indy, unfortunatly, had to much beer yestarday ,and that lead to Epb binding on the highway. After pulling fuses and 10 stopes on the busy turnpike just to cool off the rotors, i luckily got home, but desperatly in need to go to dealer for proper addjustment as I am not going back that far back to the indy shop. I wonder , since I own Foultmate , is it possible to put
EPB in mounting mode or other safe mode via that computer, and drive , just so I could get safely to the local dealer? Is it also safe to drive with that mode for a longer distances until addjustment is done or maybe I should just pull fuse in engine box and drive until proper addj. Is done? Cheers

Sounds like it may need more than adjustment. Possibly they've not put the shoes on properly. Mounting mode may not make any difference. (But may, it's difficult to tell without taking the disk off)

Find a loc garage and get the to read the bible. Anyone should be able to do them tbh.

Shoes where fine , almost unused, 10 times maybe. Their where installed 3
Years a go by a LR dealer , properly. It is just, that I was in need for a new rotors and pads and local indy did not put a EPB in service mode, before taking rotors off, so I think. I was there a day before and saw epb shoes, they looked almost brand new.
I just worry now they might be bind into the rotor or ware off too much due to binding on the wAy back home, car was sheaking from that abd I had to do a lot of stops and alloq for rotors to cool off and drive very slowly .

if you can jack the car up and get the wheel off, then you can adjust the shoes yourself.

i suspect that something else is bggered up though...... pushing the shoes out permanently, they would have definately worn, if yoiu are lucky, they wont have de-laminated....

you say youve used them maybe 10 times in last three years, recipe for disaster IMHO..... nothign moving, except when you want them to, they stick and you end up with result similar to what you may have now.....

I always use it and then you know when it may fail, rather than never use it and know that when you need it, it's likely to not work properly...... Just IMHO....

Maybe I underestimated the number .Basicly I was applying it once a month, just to keep things operational.I will take rotors off today and investigate.Don't have much time after work , if anything serious ,since I am suppose to leave for the weekend for my anniversary.o boy... Big Cry
My wife refuses to drive in her Honda Civic , on the longer trips , as she likes my ride better, apparently.. Rolling Eyes
