Green & yellow wire hanging near rear diff?????

Discovery 3 hse 2005. I have a green and yellow wire hanging around my rear diff. No idea where it's support to be attached to. Starts from the loom near rear diff as two green/yellow wires then transforms to one thick green/yellow wire, About 20" in length. It's wrapped In protective black plastic. And is not connected to anything. Anybody any ideas.

Seriously though I don't have a clue but no doubt one of the knowledgable ones will be along soon with a proper answer. Hopefully

I thought that too but i don't wanna earth it and blow somthing as everything seems to work absolutely fine. No faults, no problems. I only noticed it when checking spare tyre pressure today.

DON'T earth it!

It is/was the power wire to the EPB module. There was a recall early on in the car's lifelime, and overlaying these wires to the EPB was part of said recall Thumbs Up
