Breaking Freelander TD4 ES
Don't know if this will be use to anyone on here, but i'll try anyway
Hopefully Martin won't mind either
Breaking TD4 (BMW M47 engine) Freelander. 2001 MY, genuine 56k miles.
Car is an MOT failure, and is worth more to me in bits. Trying to pay for a TDV6 (still! )
Can be seen/heard running. IRD + rear diff are in perfect working order, as is the Viscous Coupling.
Many new parts fitted, inc alternator, and clutch/DMF
Many extras including Heated Leather seats, soft A-Bar with spotlights, 6 disc CD changer, 16" alloys wheels, all with nearly new tyres, Roof rails, towbar etc

I missed it out on purpose, as at this moment in time, it is largely irrelevant. I have broken a lot of Freelanders, and know exactly what they are worth in bits, and I suspect any offer for the car complete will be substantially less than the sum of its parts
For the record, it failed on rutsy brake pipes, an ABS sensor fault and a few minor bits and bobsMy D3 Build Thread
