Depends on the size you're after, but if its 20s -
275s from Andy at AJS
or
285s from Prospeed...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

275's I have emailed the obvious suppliers but have not had a response. Hence this thread.
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Prospeed do 275s as well, but their price wasn't as competitive as Andys....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Are you changing the Scorpions on your D4? I'm thinking of doing the same. The Scorps are very smooth riding, but I dare not venture off the road for fear of ripping them to shreds.
I CBA having a second set of wheels, and was hoping a more off road type of tyre would be better, namely the Coopers.
Do the 275's protect the wheels any better than the Scorpion? There seems to be very little shoulder sitting beyond the wheel face, so any sort of rut is going to scrape the wheel.

The 275 LTZ does give built in rim protection...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Already got an off road set of 20" wheels and tyres, however I require 2 new LTZ's as the ones I purchased had 2 good tyres and 2 part worn. The part worn are now due for replacement. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I don't particularly want to do any serious off road in the D4, just want to be able to do some green lanes, or safe events with a bit more confidence than the Scorpions offer. If I was planning anything more serious, such as another trip to Morocco, I would be getting a set of 19 inch wheels with suitable tyres.

Appreciate that Gareth, I split one of mine going over a log at Bala, wasn't a big log, just ya average size pine.
They're not all that strong that's all I'm saying. After a couple of bog standard off road sites and a few green lane trips I'd knackered two and mashed a set of wheels. Not as great a tyre as made out IMHO. Ok but not great.Welcome "Lola"
