engine light!!

engine light!!

took my new discovery into a land rover specialist yesterday to have new front discs and pads,
just as i got home though a yellow/orange engine light came on and wont go off,
the car still drives ok etc what could this be?

on another note when the car is running and any door is opened a little red airbag light comes on and
stays on until you restart is this normal??????

If its an 07my onwards i would imagine the engine light is one of the EGR valves throwing up a fault, as for your airbag light ideally you need to get the fault codes read to point you in the right direction

the airbag light is potentially the rotary coupling, there is a LR service bulletin from a few years ago when LR were replacing them under warranty, or could be a cable under the seat being caught by the seat assembly. Thumbs Up

engine light was egr valve another £200 Sad

airbag light seems to have sorted its self out Very Happy

does anyone no off a chequer plate or similar tail gate protectors that can be screwed etc on to tailgate?

fed up of dog prints on it!!!
