Productive day today.....not :-((
Now i know why i like the 16 foot beavertail behind me,
Went to visit my Dad today in his care home and the parking is crap there, anyway found a spot and was just reversing into it when i heard an almighty bang followed by what sounded like a bottle of pop being opened
first thoughts were id hit the car behind but looked in mirror to check again and it was about ten foot away then realised the back window was a bit foggy to look through,
Guess what , bleeding tree only decided to get in my way and i hit it,pictures show my sorrow
In my defence, (not that i have any beacause after all I hit the tree not the other way around) the tree is growing at an angle which protrudes into the car park
so all in all a carp afternoon
At least the Disco3 sticker still stands proud.
the other downside is that ill have to clean it now
Wonder if can take it back to the Tinter and tell him its still not quite right (refering to previous postings about bad tinting)

Ouch.
Incredibly easy to miss high set obstacles when looking at the bay lines. My neighbour reversed into a branch that was sticking directly out from a tree behind a parking bay at a police station - in effect he was looking at it end on and it was already devoid of any foliage, presumably stripped off by the last victim. It punch a neat 3" hole through the rear glass.
The police denied responsibility, but the assistant on the desk let it slip it had damaged quite a few cars already, including 2 police vans!
His next letter to the police asked if it was really necessary to go to court given the circumstances. The note back simply said - please find attached cheque.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

As painful as it is , i could live with the glass and the light,
but why did it have to be the panel ,

I feel for you both. Reminds me of backing the D3 into SWMBO's Jazz, on two separate occasions. First time I blamed the PDC as they weren't working, second time they were but thought they'd gone faulty again.
