Read first 30 or so pages (of 64) then skipped to last 3-4........
And STILL no conclusion
TBH I was convinced it was a con that too coincidental to be plausible by about page 3

There's some point in the thread perhaps around page 30 where the guy states that he was trying to con people....

Well It took 3 hrs but I have read the lot, i found it difficult to put down like a good book!At first I thought it was a clear cut case of a scam but upon reading page after page it became less apparent. Basically the guy has been blasted with accusations, some slight racist comments and called all names under the sun because of 3 main contributors. The thread then went global and eventually other forums were logging on and giving the guy grief.
IMO the poor guy has been wrongly accused of something for which there is no evidence at all, based on some circumstantial evidence. After a post from the forum owner the comments seemed to slow down as it appears the brother of the guy seeked legal advise.
Guess there's a lesson for anyone here, before commenting on anything make sure you have all the facts present.

That's what I thought but I didn't look at the user name of the post when that was stated.....it wasn't him that posted that, it was someone trolling with a very similar name......fooled me as well.

Feck me how old is that thread! And yeah no conclusion and it would only have taken a mystery shopper to go and poke around it and check things over Hope these forums are better than that when things get flagged up as if my fattie or a disco i was using got nicked i'd hope someone who was suspicious investigated it a little to save some poor soul buying a duffer FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner
Test piloted a new D4 XS SDV6.. Gone and being forgotten i hope!!

I must admit it is some hefty thread and I didn't read it all. I was fooled by the post above also, well spotted.
