I'm at my kids swimming lessons and the signal is poor to say the least and to top it off the D4 wouldn't start and I was involved with perhaps the worlds worst member of staff at LR Assist She took my reg number and told me it was a 2010 plate but wouldn't authorise a call out until I'd given her my VIN. I tried to explain that I had to use my other car as I was in a rush and the D4 was 6 mile away sat on my drive were the car is registered to(same address the two previous call outs came to) but she was adamant that no one would attend until she had a VIN. I was keeping a lid on it at this point, so I said " right then, you know it's a UK supplied vehicle through your recognised dealer network" she replied "yes" I replied " and you've already told me its a 2010 registered vehicle" she replied "yes" and I then asked " is it not, therefor, covered by LR's cast iron 3 year warranty?" she replied "yes" I said " then please send someone to replace the toffee apple battery that is about as much use as tits on a bull please!" the conversation went on until I asked to speak to her manager at this point I was put on hold for 5 minutes or so, eventually she agreed to send someone for tomorrow morning But insisted I had the VIN at hand when the technician turned up I told her that I was going home immediately to rub all identification numbers off the car just for a laugh. FFS some people should not be allowed to operate a phone Club Exped trailer
