Simons17. thinking about my earlier post, I was confusing the oversized Cooper STT in 17" that will fit without rubbing etc. I'm not sure that you'd get a STT in 18" that would fit. Others might know.

Smallest 18" Cooper STT comes in 275/65R18. This size requires a fair bit of modification to fit to a D4.

Iam running 17in as offroad wheels with BFG muds on, due to the lack of 18 in tyre choice for my second set. I am now hoping that as they are starting to bring out 8) wheels such as the above the tyres will follow.
Are you talking more mods than the front chassis bulge, moving wiring loom & rear arch seam? Or do you need to start hacking into the bumper & other stuff?

You'll need a suspension lift (LLAMS or rods) to stop the tyres rubbing on roundabouts etc, plus for full articulation, yes you'll need to trim the lower front lip, trim/cut the rear wheel-well liner (depending on model).

Sorry to resurrect a really old thread, but what colour were these rims? Matt anthracite or matt black?

Gary, did you try those rims on a 3.0 D4? I was wondering if they'd fit without spacers.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
