D3 collection check list.

Hi all, I’m not sure that this is the best place to put this request or if it's been covered before, however I’ll be picking up my new 07 D3 very soon, from the local stealer and I want to take a check list with me, a DISCO3.CO.UK check list. Twisted Evil The idea of this check list (if we manage to make one before this post goes wildly off topic, no names you know who you are Laughing ) is not to catch Landrover or the stealer out but to make sure that myself and others don’t get caught out. I want to be able to check and spot (hopefully none) as many areas of concern before I drive the car away i.e. Tale gate struts, paint Ect…
Your mission if you choose to accept it is: Post what you would be (with instructions if necessary) looking for, if you where about to collect your new (please cover all models and accessories) 07 Disco from the stealer. This message will now self destruct. 5, 4, 3, BOOM.
Brute force and ignorance, the D3 does the rest.

Check that U have the alloys locking nut key and that it is the right one. On Mrs DSL's car it was missing, they then got in the wrong one (dealer could not cope with one person having 2 of 1the same type of cars!!!). On my parent's car it was also missing!

Did you expect it to go any other way? Rolling Eyes
O.K. In a futile attempt to bring this back on topic.

Suggestion number 1: Check that U have the alloys locking nut key and that it is the right one. DSL.

2. Check all controls operate correctly
3. Check lights work
4. Check all door locl/unlock
5. Check windows for blemishes and electric operation
6. Checked heated window(s) and mirrors
7. Check radio/CD
8. Check air suspension at all ride heights
9. Check tyres for marks and obvious low pressure
10. Check washer/coolant/oil levels (if these have been missed, worry about what else might have been)

12. Check service book (correct owner details)
13. Check for oil leaks (this is a Land Rover..!)
14. Check fuel level (if they ofered a full tank, has it got one)
