Park Brake stuck on

Park Brake stuck on

Im sure this info is on here somewhere my park brake has just stuck on with my trailer full of pigs in the middle of the track. is there an easy way to get it off?

any help will be appreciated,

There is a small cover directly behind the park brake switch, prise the cover off and have a look for a loop of wire. Once you see it, hook it with something, your spares kit in boot should have a hook of sorts, YANK IT HARD - you really do have to give it a hard pull and it will release! Then try to avoid applying it until you can get it checked over. Best of luck mate Thumbs Up

Unscrew the park brake release switch and under there there is a small wire loop. You'll have to fish around for it. Give it a good pull with something hard (it will hurt your fingers if you don't use a tool of some sort) and it should release Thumbs Up

Usually fixed with a good cleanout and adjustment, but may also need new EPB shoes Thumbs Up
