Don’t know. Usually under the Center console. Follow the yellow wire covering, as that signifies airbags.

If you have access to an RRS, it’s hidden to the side of the throttle pedal. See previous pics in this thread.

Unfortunately i was too late, both RRS went to the crusher but there are a couple od D2's that i can get the plug and wiring from.
I have everything else apart from the radar bracket which i will 3D print if someone has the STL file they can share, sent a couple of pm's but no reply yet.

Wife just got back from UK and brought my parts with her, saved me about 50 pounds in postage and import costs. Last piece is the ECU which is on its way from the US, then i need to get a connector from a D2 for the ECU and the cabling for the lot.
Radar sensor came with the plug and short length of wire which will help.

Finally got mine wired up but hit a snag. Changed the three CCF items for my 2006 NA LR3:

speed control: "Speed control is fitted" change this to "Adaptive Cruise Control"
standard speed control display type: change to "Adaptive speed control display type"
adaptive cruise control indication in instrument cluster: mark as “Enabled"

But the ACC module never shows up in ECU infos and all I get is "Cruise Control Unavailable". So either I have a wiring fault - already check it 100 times - or my new ACC ecu is no good. May have to source a used one just to swap in and see what happens. Oh, I will add that I did swap high speed CAN wires around to make sure I got those right. Oddly that did not result is any CAN bus faults, so makes me wonder about the ACC module itself. I think if I those were wrong the truck would panic a bit.

Check your powers and grounds.

Looks like I found the issue. Appears I have a D4 cruise module. Nice and brand new and useless on a D3 since the CAN BUS bit rate is different. Oops! I guess in my haste to locate part and deciphering part numbers from various car makes I messed up. At least it was cheap at just $20USD. Off to find the correct one. Kinda glad actually since this was really racking my brain, so knowing this makes me feel better. Although I am still an idiot for doing this...

I now have this working in my 2006 D3.

Parts:

ACC ECU NNW501923
ACC Radar NNW502350
Switch Panel YUL500860WUX
D4 Steering wheel with BBS boards
Bracket 3d printed from Ollie795's design

Needed full access to the CCF - enabled by Pat @ GAP - then just 3 options to set.

Mine is occasionally tracking vehicles in adjacent lane (left), so need to double check the alignment. My gap increase / decrease buttons also aren't working. Other than that though it is working really well.

Thanks for all the guides and details in this thread!

Hi mate, can you please confirm that you've had no issues with using ECU NNW501923 ?
