Hi v8Louis
Nice job, also I have solved brightness with other solution, using pin located on the left.
Make some test, and runs ok. Only there is to much brightness during night and then you have to set it.
Do you know you can touch the terrain icon on the screen ( in black on your picture ) ... It will then bring up a large picture of the terrain response knobG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Hi SantiD3
Yes the disk I have in now is the latest available updated disk from Navteq (Southern Africa 2009/2010)
Landie71 see below, this is how my 4x4 info screen looks when I have the RRmode selected, you will see the terain response button is missing, and also when the lockers ingage they not show on the screen.
Is the anybody that can help and let me know how we can get this fixed, what software to use, one guy here in SA said that I have to enable the 4x4 screen again.

Hi pepekleinhans
Sorry misread your post & what I saw as your display, was actually your quote from santiD3's display.
I'll try & hook up my Faultmate tomorrow & see what version I'm running
Cheers

Thanks Marcus, it will be much appreciated, as it seems like that it is not only me but some guys in the US that have the same problem.

Hi Pepe
Just hooked up the Faultmate (still getting used to it so forgive me if I've got the wrong/not enough info ) but I think the relevant info from my car is:
HARDWARE NUMBER: YAH500131
SOFTWARE NUMBER: NNV503760
ASSEMBLY PART NUMBER: YAC500023PVJ
LEGACY ASSEMBLY NUMBER: IPK_COOL_LVL19_061106 (KPH, MESS CEN, V6DIESEL)
Going to have a read up on what's involved in updating the Instrument Pack firmware & hopefully get an idea how long it takes to do. Quite fancy getting the clock on the dash & the three-flash indicators working - it might help to stop the display system crashing in RR mode too (it's happening a little too often to be useable at the moment).
Cheers
Marcus

Thank you very much, for the info, my car will go next week Monday 17 December in, and it will be good to take all this info with, at least the technician will know what to look for.
This is much appreciated, if you do find any more info, please share with us, and once I have my software done, I will share my results too.
Thanks again
Cheers
Pepe

Interesting - if it's not just me getting it then I guess it might be worth just running in Discovery mode then & getting one of the GVIF switch boxes to go under the passenger seat. Still, might have a bash at upgrading the firmware on the Instrument Cluster anyway so I get the three flash indicators etc.
Cheers

Thank you very much SantiD3, I will try and use it and will let you guys know if I got it working. I will only be back home in mid Feb, as I am in the US for work at the moment, but I will keep you guys updated once I tried it.
