Both rear tyres worn on inside egde
I've just noticed that the two rear tyres on my Disco 3 have worn heavily on the inside edge. They're 255/55/19 Genral AT's and only had them on about 15k miles so don't really want to have to replace them now...Has anyone got any idea why they would be wearing on the inside on both sides? Its just been MOT'd and passed so not sure what to do...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.

sound like it needs 4 wheel alignment doing - this was a problem with early D3's as they seemed to settle a while after being built, and threw the rear alignment out.

tracking, alignment - OK, well something with spanners underneath
(could have sworn this was alignment, but bow to greater knowledge)

there is a technical bulletin for it. the alignment needs to be done using different settings - than the standard. and car needs to be in the tight mode
it does work as all 4 2006 models i had wore tyres like that

Hids4u is correct im sure, its a specialist area, i had mine done a few days ago at deeside4x4 for £60
Make sure you have a full tank of juice when its done too
Mine were worn on the rears (20" stormers), just the inside 2cm of each tyre, a small adjustment was made and hopefully thats the job sorted....................................................................................................

might be worth having him done at LR dealers as they'll recalibrate the height/steering sensors whilst yer there along with checking the control arms/arb bushes before doing anything t'otherwise yer throwing money down the drain having it tracked - best to cure the problem rather than the symptoms
