LR3 Rims and tyres. Dealer claims bent rims.
So I live in Dubai the dealer has performed a 72.000 km maintenance job. During this he replaced the front differential (rear was replaced during previous maintenance).
As I advised some inbalance when driving around 80 kms/hr, he checked and advised he replaced the right axle? drive train, nit sure what you call this. However the imbalance did not disappear and now he advises that my front rims are bent and I need 2 new rims and 4 new tyres. Tyres Goodyear all weather have still 5 mm thread, only 1.5 years old. 2 New rims are quoted at AE 6400 each or some Euro 1280 each.
My concern is that i have never heard bent rims, at least not the Land rover originional rims, steel rims maybe.
According to me this is a rip off. Any ideas welcome.
