Body-off experts advice wanted. Shot front mounts

Hope you had a very Happy New Year with your families and 2012 brings reliability to all of us.

During a routine check (and front suspension arms renewal to cure erratic handling and wandering while the stealer told me "everything was spot-on") I saw this body mount horror list (see pics)

Only the "hard" (orange) ones seem to have collapsed.

The "thing" is that on all check lists the mounts have been ticked as "ok" and I've seen a shot mount since the day I bought the car back in 2008, when it was 1 and 1/2 yeras old.

The other ones are rubber and seem to be in pretty good nick. The left ones equivalent are shot too, but a lot less.

Being a V8 petrol only the 4 front ones are "orange" (as opposed to TdV6 units)

So I need to change them. Here's my questions
-Torque is 130 Nm
-LR state to renew bolts. Don't think they are stretching bolts as per cylinder head ones. Do I have to renew them or any of body off experts have reused original ones
-Is it a DIY job or should I forget about it?
-The approach would be selecting high profile, taking mouldings out, placing some support undr the chassis, chock wheels, undo all body supports, and using a good trolley workshop jack levering very slightly each mounting point corner -not lifting- (in order to remove and swap shot body mounts.
I am not intending to take the body off, just replacing shot mounts

Do this way the 4 front ones. re fit bolts (or fit new ones) and tighten and wait for the next issue...

Is it ok or am I missing something?
Any input would be really appreciated

Thank you and cheers from Spain

Robert

Robert, your process sounds fine from a DIY view.

Personally I would just use new bolts, as it's probably the coating on teh bolt that helps lock it into the car. You really don't want them falling out now do you!

Robert, what was the process you had to undergo to reach good visibility of all the mounts (e.g. took wheels off, wheelarch linings etc...)?

Need to do a visual check on mine which also according to the dealer are "ok", but not convinced TBH... Rolling Eyes

Cheers Thumbs Up

Hi, all them, except the 2 front ones, are visible not having to lift the body off the vehicle.
For the 2 front ones, I took off wheels and wheelarch linings, as I was chnging front suspensions arms, and then is when I saw the mess.

The sticky goo is not oil, is a rustproofing wax I applied once I finished the job
