It's a big heavy car, and has pretty wide tyres. I drive a lot of different vehicles with work and no matter what vehicle I'm driving I can get a scare with the depth of ruts left in lane 1 of some motorways; they can really drag you in sometimes.

I don't find this to be particularly bad with the disco over other vehicles, depends what you're used to. As with any hazard on the road, the faster you're going the more extreme the vehicle's reaction and the less time you have to react! Whistle

I'd just be aware of the way it handles and unless it gets worse I wouldn't worry.

To see just how big and heavy a Disco 3 really is, gently shake the steering side to side at 70mph. Just a gentle movement like that is enough to bring the DSC into play, and slow the car down...

It weighs the best part of 3 tons, has a high centre of gravity, and was built for comfort, not road holding Thumbs Up

I know one or two have commented on the "speed", but on my 265/50x20 Yoko's, even into 3 digit speed its rock steady, no pulling/tramlining/etc, making it a very capable and comfortable high speed cruiser, but........

On my last D3 I tried 275/45x20 brand new budget tyres and it was all over the place. I've just put my winter rims on with 255/60x18 Grabber AT2's, and its as nerverous as a cat on a hot tin roof, even at 70.

As one or two have said, it shouldnt be, but could be the tyre mix.
