Assuming it's similar transformation (my VX with the S/C ended up with c.540hp) then it's something to be experienced. Straightline performance was just stunning, it used to actually seriously frighten some of those who weren't used to it.
Back in 2001 0-100mph, in just under 10.0 secs was seriously quick, but where the HSV was really strong was in the 100-160 range. Above that wind resistance really kicked in and proper supercars with much lower drag and superior downforce came into their own.
Great fun, in what many people thought was just a modded Omega
Rear tyres used to last me about 6k on average, with "normal" driving. Perfectly possible to trash them in a hour though and a track day would destroy a whole set.
I trust your's will be shod with Wintracs all year round Bring back the SO2's I say.

Well the attractive bespecticled bald feller sold me a set od at 275 45 20s for a diminutive amount after abusing me demenour and sexual orientation, he said the ats were better than the ltz,s and that if iwas going to Scotland I'd better get some 19s and lesson the pumped out stormer 20 inch bad boy drug dealer look, so I told him to off then he sent his goons to eat my van like a loverly pizza, it was a harrowing partially disconcerting experience but now I am a better person
