I am considering putting non Land Rover disc's and pads on this time, (Brembo rotors with Akebono pads in the OEM calipers), and have wondered if installing non OEM parts would affect the operation of the various braking systems. This sort of concern generally gets a "whats the problem" response on most of the North American boards that I frequent. 34" wheel/tyre combos that jam the wheel wells when the suspension drops are considered design problems and unsprung mass is a foreign term.
I seem to recall a discussion on disco3 related to how many curry hooks there are in a D3 and contrast that to the link below which is basically how many places you can conveniently locate your 9mm within arms reach.
