personally, it might be more than just tracking, on such a new vehicle I'd be having a word with the local LR dealer or LR customer care to have it covered under warranty and a contribution towards the cost of a new tyre
there's also the issue of warranty given I assume its still under 3 years old - given the complexity of a D3/4 when tracking, I have only found a LR stealer up to the task with the right equipment to sort out/identify some contributing issues like the vehicle osilating due to wrong settings on the camber which will give yer system fault/loss of AT and lowered suspension whilst driving etc etc.

Depends where in Sheffield you are, I use Dexel Tyres in Worksop who have been pretty good in the 20 odd or more years we been using them for the farm. Had my D3 tracked by them and my D4 checked when I had new Tyres. Both have been spot on afterwards!

IMO, should all be covered under warranty.
Similar issues with D3's in the past and LR replaced the tyres. Iirc though it did vary from dealer to dealer and some had to argue the case.

Tried to get mine done under warranty,
No chance wanted i think nearly £200 plus vat then he said its a 4x4 thing and they all wear uneven and then the best comment he said wait for it ... it's the design of the tyre and its because they are rounded rather than square on the edges at that point I left.
all that from a service receptionist and then the workshop controller put in his two penneth about the tyre design...
Tried two dealers in my area neither would do it under warranty and not even 2 years old yet.
I then proceeded to my local indy for 4 wheel track found to be out by a degree or so.
They both said that they out source the 4 wheel tracking as they have not the equipment to carry out the check
Take it to a reliable indy unless you fall lucky with a warranty claim MY18 D5 HSE LUX😎

I just had over a grand's worth of work done under warranty on my 06 D3 HSE as a result of discovering uneven tyre wear and a de-laminating front tyre.
Turns out both the Lower Arms were shot, both the track rods and track rod ends and the tracking itself, both the rear anti roll bar bushes etc etc.
Although I took mine to a Guy Salmon main dealer I think they are tricky to set up as I had to take it back the day after collection to get the tracking re-done as it was pulling left and the steering wheel wasnt straight. It is all fixed now though and its like a different car.2006 TDV6 HSE

Jimi- Which warranty? My Warranty Direct policy excludes suspension (& probably most other things as well when push comes to shove )

Thanks. Sadly my mileage was too high for another LRA warranty. Infact, when my WD runs out in April 2012, no company will cover me as I'll have done over 120k miles by then.
