Hi, I am getting a D3 SE and I wanted to add the rear radio controls as I have on my current D2. Does anyone know if the wire harness is already in the door and it is simply a matter of plugging in the controls. Also they look the same as the D2. Will a D2 control fit?
Thanks if you can help, just starting out with the Discovery 3

My D3 SE already has rear seat and 3rd row radio controls. Surprised your doesn't. Disco 3 TDV6 SE, black, de-badged, blacked out windows, cream leather interior, never seen a dirt track in its life.

I have only seen these on the HSE, the car had a better radio system fitted radio when new so maybe thas why. I have spent a few hours searching the forum and I have now found a thread that explains where the wires are and that you can add the controls.
I should move this post to the right section now.

I'm with Jeremy Clarkson on this one, why would I want controls in the back so the kids, mother in law or any rear passenger can mess with my musical enjoyment?

Ah, but that's just it. They can't. If the second or third row choose the same source as you, they can only adjust the volume in their headphones. It doesn't adjust the volume through the speakers or change the source that the rest of the vehicle is listening to. Club missing my D3
