D pillar speakers

I have found the speaker connector behind the "speaker-less" D pillar trim. What does that mean with regards to the base line stereo in my S D3? Is there the complete loom for hi-line audio system in place?

Warning, stupid question to follow Laughing - Does that mean I can connect D pillar speakers? (and they will actually play?)
Or is the loom only a part of the standard rear loom with no reference to the audio system installed?

At least he is honest and apparently quite realistic Wiggs.

What gets me is how any S vehicle with a base spec main loom would have any connections for speakers on the D pillars that even HSE vehicles would not have with their Hi Line Audio wiring, unless Logic 7 were fitted in which case the speakers would be too. I have seen the connections present on an FFRR as there is a different loom on that part although these have no connection on the main loom.

My best guess is that its a 5 seat vehicle and these connectors are not speaker ones but the additional 7 seat roof mounted airbag ones. Which are like the ones you get in the steering wheel.

StepanT, can you describe these connectors, right angle or straight and colour or otherwise supply a photo of them?

The Main loom is the same for 5 and 7 seats, but different for Premium audio over base spec.
Go figure Wink
