Lost key!
Hi guys! I have been a massive turkey and now lost a key Is there any option available other than to crawl on my hands and knees to the dealers??? I have still got one key but since I have managed to lose one key it's highly possible that I could lose the other so I need 2!

Nnnnoooooooooooo!!!!!!!! It's only a f G key!!! If I can find a spare key on the tinternet surely some boffin/ highly talented disco expert can program it somehow using my existing key??
most keys availble from ebay have been pre activated to a vehicle and as such you cannot reprogramme to another vehcile, sorry
unless the seller specifically says and can prove it has not been pr-programmed then save your money towards a new keyTLO has left the building.......

Three simple steps:
1. You can get one from eblag, BUT, make sure it's new and hasn't been coded!! £30.00 ish
2. Get a new key blade cut. I used these guys, Key-express in Orpington and just e-mailed them a picture of my old blade. Dirt cheap about £10.00
3. Find someone with a Faultmate that can program it for you.
A lot cheaper than £100+ odd from a dealer, although a little bit more hassle Giggity - Giggity

£120 quid rings a bell.. but I am sure TLO will be along shortly to let us know
retail is £119 inc vat
but then factor in dealership activation (1/2 hour labour charge)
or you can find a generous faultmate owner on here who will activate for youTLO has left the building.......

I assume they send em in the post to yer address........ so let me just give an objective view:
1) you email them asking for a new key to be cut with a picture of your current key 2) you include your address for the key to be sent after you have confirmed the type/style/age etc of vehicle you own............. and you hope that they or a rogue employee or associate or friend of someone related to or involved in the business does not come along one dark night and drive yer vehicle off with what is then another type specific key........ ARE YOU BLEEDIN MAD OR shall we re-title your reply to "Three simple steps to getting yer D3 nicked"
