2005 LR3 TDV6 HSE Auto Unknown ColourLR3
Vehicle will raise when suspension has cooled down????

Shocked Ok went down one green lane in sunny sunny surrey the lane ended everything was hunky dory, drove down the road for about 3 mile, went to raise the sus again and i get this message on the dash "Vehicle will raise when suspension has cooled down" Confused ... has anyone had this before and how often will it come about. i have had a new compressor in the past i would rather not have to buy a new one lol Very Happy

If you raise and lower the suspension repeatedly in a short period of time then you will get this message ...you just need to give it time to get back to a happy temp Thumbs Up

Unless you have worked it really hard it sounds like mud has accumulated around the compressor; it will need flushing out.

I think a few on here have made additional or enlarged holes in the compressor cover to encourage the mud out.

suspension compressor overheating

i have just come back from a trip to Botswana with a new compressor before I left and after some heavy sections of sand I always got an overheating warning and dropped suspension which is very unnerving when you are facing miles of heavy sand
