Vehicle will raise when suspension has cooled down???? |

Ok went down one green lane in sunny sunny surrey the lane ended everything was hunky dory, drove down the road for about 3 mile, went to raise the sus again and i get this message on the dash "Vehicle will raise when suspension has cooled down" ... has anyone had this before and how often will it come about. i have had a new compressor in the past i would rather not have to buy a new one lol

If you raise and lower the suspension repeatedly in a short period of time then you will get this message ...you just need to give it time to get back to a happy temp 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Unless you have worked it really hard it sounds like mud has accumulated around the compressor; it will need flushing out.
I think a few on here have made additional or enlarged holes in the compressor cover to encourage the mud out.

suspension compressor overheating |
