More like sales people won't because it involves using a screwdriver so the workshop have to do it and they'll bill them for it, and you want to keep the guards so they can't even flog them themselves. And you'll buy the car anyway

You're more than likely right sarumlight. However, another result for the disco3 forum! Showed the stealer your responses and they admitted their error and will remove the guards for us if we want. Now whether or not there's damage or not underneath remain to be seen, but I won't be taking it if there is and I know they are desparate to shift the vehicle.

keep the bl**dy things - the dealer won't care or charge you more/less - you can sell them on here
all you need is the LR (or generic) Allan Key and a screwdriver - dead simple
Example of rubbing marks you might find behind rear lamp guards - two years of rubbing here
