WANTED URGENTLY - 18" spare wheel
As the title says spare needed.
When my D3 went in for repair it had a spare - now it hasn't. Garage seem to have lost it. I am away very soon and they are very slow at replacing it. I fear that it will not be done in time so I am having to source one myself.
I currently have 255 60 18's on 5 Spoke S alloys.
I just need a wheel on a rim that can be used in an emergency. It will have to be cheap and local to London

I don't know if they're getting you a new one, or second hand, but if you need one pronto, I'd make a nuisance of myself. Surely they can "borrow" one off a used car or something temporarily. That's probably what happened to yours anyway.
I always tend to take things like loose change and anything of value out of the car before it goes in to a garage, but wouldn't think of the spare tyre.

I need it in my hand (under the D3) by this Monday.
The garage have, after much complaining, order a new alloy and wheel from Stratstones but they don't think that it will arive until Monday - I'll believe that when I see it.
As I can't rely on them I will be probably be borrowing a wheel from AJS as I have a job in Sutton on Saturday.
Can I just say a very big thank you for all of the offers of support and help in such a short space of time. Your mums will all be very proud of you!
