Dont laugh but I am looking for a cheap Suzuki Jimny for my nephew who has just turned 17 and cannot afford to insure a land rover.

great fun little car! stuff to check tho -
autolocking hubs work - when in 4 wheel drive the light should stay on and not flash & you should get a clunk from the front hubs as they lock in.
check the boot floor for corrosion esp as the sides

Don't know if this might be to new and pricey for a first car but we have a Jimny for sale at £2795, it a 52 plate and where only in Swaledale so not far away

Thanks very much but yes with insurance prices for the young we are looking at £2200 top whack.

That's ok thought the insurance would be an issue but the boss says the price is negotiable and it would be serviced and mot'd. Good hunting.

The blame is with the false and fraudulent claims then the no win no fee solicitors and claims companies.
