Before you go and order from Amazon, it's actually cheaper on 7dayshop

I got mine today... bit disappointed really.

Everything looked to be okay and the picture on the camera looked great straight out of the box. However, since I've charged it the thing keeps freezing. All seems to be fine and then, usually as I try the menu's or press any button, the whole unit freezes. The picture stays but nothing will work, not even the power-off button. The only way out is to put a paperclip into 'reset' and start again. Usually it'll turn back on but freeze as soon as I try anything.

Getting annoyed now... think I've got a duff one. Crying or Very sad

Have you tried another card in it, if that does not work it sounds like you have been unlucky and got a duffer unit.

Agree with Flack - if you are recording in HD and have a slow memory card this will happen.....

The card I'm using is the 7dayshop Pro 32GB SDHC High-Speed Class 10 that's recommended with this camera?

I'll go find another one and see if it's better... Thumbs Up

Some unbranded cards claim to be this or that, to be certain stick with a well known brand as it can affect performance, Play.com have a sale that ends Sunday and are offering free delivery as well, see here for a selection of cards

Update... Just tried the v.fast Sony 32GB card from my GoPro HD and still the same... turns on then freezes after a couple of button presses. What I have just discovered though is it sometimes freezes without a card in it at all !!! Best send it back and try for a replacement... Thanks for the tips, worth a try.

Maybe 32gb is too much (even thought it says so), Blackvue limit is 16gb, may be worth trying a 16gb Thumbs Up

64GB is the stated limit for this one... but the fact that it also freezes without any cards in it is the clincher for me!
7Dayshop have been very good - got a return number and freepost address already.
Thanks though.

crews control got mine this morn and can't beleive it was only £26 Thumbs Up . Only just started playing about with it but i to thought it had frozen and wouldn't switch off. Don't know for sure yet but it's meant to do that it comes on when you switch car on and goes off when you switch car off. Unplug the power then it will turn it's self off, from their you can play about with the settings. Brilliant for the money so far so good will keep you posted.

It certainly does look good, and I like the way it auto-runs when you give it power... you can even set how long it should run for after the power is turned off. Trouble is, mine freezes irrespective of whether I'm running on power or the internal battery. Definitely a faulty unit, but I'm reassured that no one else has had this problem so the next one will probably be okay.
