You better get in touch with pirelli then as well because they list that size as a tuning option for a discovery 3
http://www.pirelli.com/tyre/gb/en/car/genericContent/fitment enter landrover discovery 3 all tyres and look at the choices!
how could such a big tyre company make such a big mistake?

Discovery 3 - Total (EEC kerb*)
TdV6 manual - 2494kg (5 seat) 2708kg (7 seat)
TdV6 auto - 2504kg (5 seat) 2718kg (7 seat)
Range rover Sport (EEC kerb*)
TDV6 auto - 2455kg

dalekenworthy wrote:the reason the disco has 112 tyres is because its seven seats and theoretically it can carry more weight, so 109H + no fat ba ds = no problem for the tyres
The vast majority of vehicles sold in the UK were 7 seat auto's ...and you claim that the only reason that the tyre rating are different is because it has seven seats and yet the kerb weight is already clearly 263kg heavier without the "fat ba ds" you talk about.
Fear not though... I shall not say anything to categorise any other cornish people as being as different as you obviously are 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

first let me start by apologising for my argumentative and aggressive tone that i used in my first post, thats not really me and i had had a confusing day and it was out of order, I have been told different things by many people from different sources on tyres and it makes your head spin, so if i offended anyone im sorry, next i will say that big dave is quite right, cameron has just saved us all, but we are not alone as my wifes country the czech republic didnt sign either. and next i will say happy christmas to all, tomorrow im of to devon for a land rover experience then at the end of the week were of to cz for xmas and new year, so as they said "during the war" keep calm and carry on!.
