Looks cool in my opinion Thumbs Up

Ours rarely sees a town so is constantly covered in mud, horse/cow crap and silver is good in this respect. I guess if you use them in towns Black is good.

I totally agree...although, I'm probably biased...

Black shows every mark.. IMWHO (In My Wife's Humble Opinion) being ex-motor trade, she hates it. IMHO, Silver is good as it hides marks and looks great polished and the paint seems 'harder' if that's possible. I don't like dark colours (the dk blue, fr'instance) for similar reasons.

Don't think silver paint is any harder - but if you scratch it, the white base coat isn't so noticable Thumbs Up

Would be nicer with black wheelarches as per original design (the original is always better than the facelifted version IMHO).
The older I get, the better I was.

Had a silver D3 and now got a stornoway grey D4. I liked the silver and was not sure about the stornoway at first. Now prefer the stornoway, easy to keep clean, does not show marks and looks 8) when just cleaned. Thumbs Up
