First i want you to compliment you on your great site very interesting.
I have just bought a sankey and i am planning to make a similar trailer build. I am also planning on getting the trailer a little bit longer. Do you know the width of the beam of the triangle.
so i can order the right metal in 100x50x??.
thanx Frank

Sounds great
A new bit of copper brake pipe was fitted into the extension bit with a couple of compression fittings . Was going to change to a complete new flexible pipe , but never got round to it .
No problem with internal fittings ... mine is also very stable ( proberly due to the weight ) and has followed me at speeds of 90 +
My reservoir is knack'd, and with your combined expertise on renovating the Sankey, I was wondering whether an obp 3/4" master and reservoir would be easy to attach, and if so what thread gauge is usual for the pipe attachment?

Great!
The OBP one is good value, I'll compare prices, may be more reliable to get an original though!

Yes but the bush that holds the pipe is 3/8" you will need to get the end of the pipe flared to the right sizeHome of RLD Hidden winch mounts Spare wheel Locks Trailer Body Fabrication [email protected] D3/4 sump plates MY 14 sump plates and the Discovery Sport wheel protectors Discovery 5 wheel locks

Really a great build, well engineered and like the fact there was no plan it just grew. I wonder what the resale on this would be, im sure you wouldnt part with it !
Any part of doing it you regret ? or would have done a different way ?If idiots could fly this place would be an airport.
Anyone want to buy a SII 88" in kit form....

If your on about my build ... I did have a rough plan ... And new what I wanted to have in the trailer .
Go to one of the LR shows and look what a basic trailer costs... I saw one for 21 grand and it only had a kitchen and a few lights
Don't regret anything ... Something's I could proberly have done easier ... But Iv never done any thing like it before .
I am going to build another ... Because I enjoyed making it .... And to be honest it will proberly be quite similar as it dose everything I want it to doG4 Gone ...but not forgotten
