The disc brake Sankey is lower than the drum braked version, so a disc braked one will sit level (or just about). Mine sits virtually level and the hitch is about an inch below the open tailgate.Disco 5 HSE Lux

long time since i posted on here
Been doing a few bits and bobs ...and a bit of tyding up .
Will have it set up at Peteborough ..so i will get some pics in action with the awning up .
Silly question ...anyone reccomend tyre pressures for the sankey ? ...it has been running on 34psi ( what was in the old G4 spare wheels )G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I'd have thought you'd be OK with that as there's not really that much weight on them. Perhaps up them to 36 but not much difference. If it seems to be bouncing around too much, up them a touch more.

A bit late ..but heres a few pics from Peterborough LR show .
Unfortunatly is was blowing a gail ..so the awning never realy stayed were it should of been ..so was taken down ( and never bothered putting it back up)

There's an article about converting a Sankey in LROI this month if you're interested.
Might tell you how you should have done it.
