Ade
I have been been watching this thread intently, along with probably half the Disco3.co.uk membership if not half the world.
Like most, i don't want, need or care for a Sankey based trailer in any form, but that's really not the point.
You do, and that's plenty good enough for me
You take care and attention to detail, to a whole new level, and the amount of time, thought and effort that you have applied to this entire project is both out standing and astounding.
I am most grateful that you have taken the time and effort to document, picture and post up your progress and thus share it with us all.
I know it has taken up a lot of your time.
I am quite sure i speak on behalf of quite a significant number of people when i say i really can't wait to see the finished product of all your not in substantial time and effort and that i really hope you wil get to enjoy and benefit from it for many years to come.
Well done chap and all due kudos to you.
BTW, i think you missed a bit

Steve
Brakes ....No i just masked up any moving parts on the braking system .(and the rubber hoses from the calipers and rubber boot on the master cylinder )
Legs ...put them down to spray them the first time ..didnt bother this time . There never gonna stay looking new when your moving them up / down so i didnt waste my time doing the insides this time
Grease was removed when i got it ...power washer and some spray on gunk ...left it to soak for 15 mins then power washed off .
Re- grease all the nipples when its been sprayed G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Spent today doing the last few jobs on the chassis.
Cleaned up all lights ..fitted rear reflectors, mounted all wiring clips and brake pipes.
Flushed out brake fluid , refilled and bled ..adjusted handbrake.
Put rubber strips back on for resting body on. Routed the trailer plug and fitted a holder .
Body is ready at the sprayers ..going to pick it up at 9am

Well its back ...maybee not to every ones taste ..but hell i drive an orange car so why not.
Done a great job , although theres a couple of marks on the front fridge removable panel ..he said he would do it again .
Another issue ..which was my fault ..a few of the hinges touch the chequer plate when the doors open ( the raised bit on the chequer plate is the cause ) . This is rubbing the paint off the hinge
I could drill out the rivets , remove the panel and file them down , but would need spraying again . Or i could remove the door completly and file it down , but again there will be some touching up needed .
I will see how it goes .
Some random shots ..looking better as i add the bolt on bits ..wheel arches will make a big difference , but he hasent done them yet .
