Yes - Matzker...at 2,000 euro... One guy in Lux is running the Matzker kit (plus I met someone in Spain a couple of weeks ago that also has it). It adds a few extra centimeters at the flick of a switch.
Plus a couple of members (in the US I believe) have been playing with modified rods that will trick the suspension into going higher.

I believe it is Chris Tyler...but he is no where near as active on the forum as he used to be. But seeing as Matzker is based in Cologne, I wouldn't think you need to contact anyone outside of Germany to see about this kit...(?)The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

just got a PM from Dave, who is producing the rods,
but the biggest problem is,
that i don´t own a D3 up to now
but there will be one sooner or later,
the prices for used D3 are falling down from month to month,
because of the introduction of the D4 in germany,
at the moment you can buy fpr example :
D3 MY 05/2005 50000 km 19000 €
I´think thats not to much its not broken ! its british !
There's an '05 HSE for sale in Lux for 20k euro (not mine - and I don't even know the person. I have only seen the post on the Lux LR forum). So the 19k you quote seems a good price as well. The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
