Don't know if you'd noticed, but we don't exactly live in an ideal world - no such place.
My policy is to make the best of what we've got, and get on with things. Bad stuff happens, yah?

Yep, piece of mind I guess. Made plenty use of LR Warrenty, just hoping I can NOT use the Tesco finest as much.

Bonus - price was £339 for 12 months standard. Mileage today is 78600, but have defered the start date until 25 June 09 when my LR warranty expires. Still accepted it all and technicaly its below 80K when purchased - lets just hope nothing breaks between now and then. I wonder if I will be over 80K by then? Hopefully 79999

Just took out the standard Tesco policy as LR wanted another £800 for their version of Andrex.
The only thing they repaired under warranty last year was the failed tailgate, said no to everything else.
WOnt make that mistake this year.
Mind you the Tesco doesnt cover the turbo I believe. All things shipping, storage, transport. UK and worldwide.

Bumpety Bump Bump...........................
Seems peeps are asking alot recently of the various Warrenties available. View page one and you will see the three types of policy available with Tesco
Just got my car back from Yeovil today. Tesco finest has paid for a new alternator (I had to pay for a battery) and new rear differential. Tesco's bill was around £1200 , so had my value from it. Yeovil dealt with it all
The only thing to watch is to make sure your servicing is done on time - if it's a big claim I guess Tesco will use this as a good excuse not to pay.TDV6 HSE Lux (2014MY)

Well I am serviced by TFC, who is funnily enough covered for Tesco warranty issues.

Re servicing on time: Not my case, one car was 1800 miles late for 1st service, realised that when it was in for new turbo & compressor. No Problemo!!! Was a bit worried until dealer told me it was accepted after I emailed them proof of servicing (Frank Ogg of Elgin ). I now have servicing done bang on schedule but have just had my D3's 60k service done 2000 miles early for Tunisia but phones Tesco, they were happy and put a note on my file.

I must be blind - just where are the prices for the various options listed on the Tesco site?
I have been running my '05 HSE without warranty for a while now and I fear my luck may run out. With less than 50k on the clock and less than 5 yrs old I hope the price is reasonable (the LR deal was a non-starter).
