I know there is a fuse for it in one of the 7 fuses inside the left hand panel (viewed from the rear) where the loom enters the car. Not sure if its fused further upstream as well...

It's purple (the wire), if that helps
And I think the manual tells you which is which. (spent too much of sunday looking for the rear power socket fuse - then losing the fuse puller down behind the kickplate whilst trying to extract the well hidden spare fuse ) Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

i've got a tow socket power fuse behind the glove box if that helps, think it was number 8.
Other half lowered the passenger seat fully reclined on way back from France for a sleep, when awake the seat was stuck! Passenger seat fuse had blown, number 29 i think, and as i couldn't see a spare i swapped it with the one for tow socket power as they were same.

Not at all DW, tiz the one with lilac-purply wires to/from it
(I cut in to it to gain an extra permanent live or my fridge)
The details are in the handbook Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

Hi guys, I've converted the twin 7 sockets on the back of our disco to a single 13 pin however the white and red wire that is apparently suppose to be either permanent live or ign live isn't live at all? This is the wire originally out of the grey 12s plug which is for battery charging? Is this normal? I've no live from it even if the engine is running
