Puddins of a MAF sensor
Hi Guys,
Has anybody opened/got the probes out of a MAF sensor? I'm trying to open one and insert the probe from an old RRSport. It seems to be a sealed unit but maybe something like a Dremmel?

It's the same MAF sensor for the RR Sport and Discovery 2.7 TDV6, why not just swap over?yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Haven't done a side by side yet but the new one feels much bigger. I'll have a right look tomorrow

Yes, it was exactly the same sensor. Still reading 0g/m² at any revs. Van drives far better. Computer says intermittent fault in circuit. Fuses 17 and 13 are in place and good. Check engine light no longer coming on at idle but does come on at operating temp. Where to next

P0100 mass airflow sensor circuit intermittent fault. Using an old Lynx that came with the van. It shows 12.75volts on red/blue wire and about 3.5 on two others and 0 on black at the plug. It could be that the s/h sensor is broken too. Is there any test for the unit itself.
Thanks
