Rear suspension arm pin/bush

Hi all

MOT due in about 40 days and anticipating a previous advisory is due to be repaired

Was quoted about 1k by the usual mechanic to repair

I’m wondering is this about right?

I think last time they did the front ones they spent ages removing the old bush and replacing with purple rubber ones and main cost was labour removing old rubbers

Am wondering would you guys recommend buying the suspension arms and bushes for them to replace for me? Or would they be best removing old bushes and rescuing arms to be cost effective please?

The bottom suspension arm does seem very rusty too I was doing hand brake adjustment a while back and did notice there was a massive chunk of rusty metal flaking off and what looked like a long rotted hole so maybe best to plan ahead and provide the mechanic with new parts and save them charging me for loads of labour again. Or maybe I’m overthinking it and that’s stage usual way to press out the bushes

Thanks as always
