Wasn't that one of the recent Muslim demands? They say Asians with origins in the Indian subcontinent have higher premiums. If doing that is legal (how do they determine that - from people's name?) then that might reflect driving habits. Probably based on postcodes being specific areas (e.g., Bradford) with higher accident rates.

Reduce profitability for insurance companies = reduced performance for people's pensions.

Drivers' Bill = John Major's Cones Hotline or Citizens' Charter.

Whatever the policies of the party that wins the election, only those policies with with the civil service agree will get implemented.
