Underside protection plate/ belly pan securing bolts
Just looking at putting underside protection plates for the rear sump and transmission areas. Does anyone have a securing bolt size for these please. A look online suggests there may be a few variations
Many thanks

I’ve found that everything so far on the underside has been M8 thread flanged bolts. Can’t remember the length I used for the sump guard but looking at my orders the biggest I’ve ordered is 70mm length.
Take a look at these guys, I order my bolts from them, worth getting stainless bolts and having a few knocking about in the toolkit as well for when you or the garage loose one

Many thanks, I’ve narrowed it down to this drawing. HB1 is part no. KYG500500
Having trouble finding part numbers for HX1, HB3 and HM1 details…..

So it’s the engine guard you want.
They did make a change to these around 2007.
To do with hx1 and quantity needed from vague memory or I think they were replaced with nuts which seams a backwards step

Then HM1x2 is missing, they are a loose distance piece of pipe the stud goes through and tightens onto.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I now have the front part of the underside protected, many thanks for the replies so far - did or do JLR do a belly pan to cover the section between the wheels or is it all aftermarket?
There's nothing conclusive I can find from the JLR parts online drawings.....?

Hi
I stand to be corrected but the drawing appears to be for a D4 rather than a D3Must stop buying shiny toys....

Darrind - I think there was a couple of types for the D3, one had two sections for the front section and this one was a longer single one which fits the D3
Pete - I'm after the mid section belly pan between the front and rear wheels, (adjacent to the fuel tank guard?)
